WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Hello all and a happy Bank Holiday to those of you who live in the UK. It's a strange holiday this one. We've only just had May Day and now we've got another day off. I must confess, I've been a bit naughty and am getting on with the site updates and more today. Well, I had a very lazy day yesterday with loads of Reiki and EFT for me, and there's not much I fancy on the telly today so why not?

And it was while I was doing my Reiki yesterday that I came across the subject for today's blog too. I had been reading about an energy exercise where you imagine the things you want as energy and send that energy out into the Universe to connect with the people and things that can bring it to fruition. I thought I would give it a try and decided to add my own Reiki energy to it while I was giving myself Reiki anyway.

So I sat and imagined the energy spiraling upwards until I was struck by a thought. And I'll bet you've had the same thought too, whenever you've tried something new. The thought was "I don't expect this'll work for me anyway." "Things always work for others but not for me." I suppose it's the "I'm not good enough," gremlin, rearing it's ugly little head again. And however successful you are, it can still be there, lurking in the background, waiting to sabotage your best efforts.

But then I remembered something somebody had once said to me. "What would you do if you knew you could not fail?" Well, I thought, if I knew I couldn't fail, I'd send that energy even higher because I'd know it would work for me. And if I was sure of getting what I wanted, I'd begin making preparations as soon as I'd finished here. And I also remembered the time just before my first Reiki attunement, when I'd been unsure of whether I'd be able to have a successful Reiki attunement too. But I figured I'd give it a try and see anyway. And did it work? Absolutely!:~))

So I was 'good enough' for that which meant I must be 'good enough' for other things to work too. So I decided to act as if I believed that it would work for me and sent the energy up again. The difference was amazing! And I'm sure that what I wanted is now winging it's way towards me.

And we know, don't we ;~) that the Law of Attraction only gives us what we put out there, so surely if we all began living our lives as if we believed we were good enough, as if we believed that everything would work for us, then that's what we'd get.

Think about it. What would you do if you knew it would work?
