FINDING ANOTHER WAY

Well hello again from me. It's been another busy week here. A busy two weeks really, so no time to write last week. Mental note to myself - must make more time for writing ;~)

And on Sunday the site went down! I couldn't get on there to do anything and boy was I worrying! After all, that's where people find me and see who I am and if they'd like to come here. I was imagining all sorts of scenarios as you can guess. What if the problems were serious and the site didn't come back? Would I have to re-write the whole thing? And how would people find me if I didn't have the site? And where would I go to find another host?

Can you spot the mistake in my thinking? I must admit that I didn't until much later in the day. But once I'd calmed down a little I realised that there are other ways to go. After all, I'm registered with lots of alternative sites and directories as well as all the usual social networking sites. Most of these allow me to add the workshops, groups and therapies I do as well as allowing me to update them with a short note each week (or daily if I wish.)

And that made me think. After all, our problems are only opportunities in another guise if we look at them that way and what this little lesson has taught me is that there's always another option. Sometimes we can get so lost in thinking that there's only one way to solve a problem that we forget that we're all part of the Universal Consciousness that has infinite ways to help us if we are open to them.

And we tend to focus very much on what we will achieve and how we will do it, thinking that there's only one way to get there. There may be only one way we can see to get there, but that doesn't mean that there aren't other ways too. And those other ways would happily show themselves to us if we weren't so caught up in our present crisis and allowed ourselves to be more open and flowing.

So the next time you have a problem, try not to look at it as a problem. Look at it as an opportunity to learn and grow and don't presume that there's only one answer. The Universe may be trying to show you something even better that you hadn't even considered.
